 | Barden Intermediate School Renovation Fort Bevoir, Virginia | | The Banneker Group, LLC began this project in January 2006 by modifying the existing configurations and provide new accommodations to allow operational and functional area of the new office areas to comply with the agency requirements. TBG repaired, removed, and replaced the electrical systems including the installation of new electrical lighting, raceways and new electricaal circuits. The exhaust and ventilation system was modified to meet current up to date standards. Windows with double insulated glass were used to replace existing glass in the kitchen area. Masonry and drywall were provided as well bringing this job in on time and on budget. |
.png) | Church of the Great Commission Camp Springs, Maryland | | The Banneker Group, LLC installed four new bathrooms for the Church of the Great Commission. TBG started first with demolishing the existing bathrooms and then installing drywall, ceramic tile and toilet partition accessories. TBG also provided doors, frames, and hardware and installed to sprinkler system as well. |
.png) | Fort Myer Paving Renovation Arlington, Virginia | | This project started in the Spring of 2008 and consisted of installing several thousand feet of various sizes of EPDM storm pipe to relieve massive flooding that was occurring every time there was a heavy downpour. The work was performed around the Master Sergeants housing. All down spouts were tied into the new storm system which was then tied into the existing system. Several new manholes had to be installed, along with a new storm water inlet. A green space was provided, and all manholes and newly installed cleanouts were adjusted to meet the new asphalt road, and parking areas, that were installed. Highly reflective markers, along with highly reflective road markings were installed. This project was completed 3 weeks ahead of schedule with no punch lists, and no complaints from the military that occupied the housing. |
.png) | Gaylord Resort and Hotel at the National Harbor Oxon Hill, Maryland | | Beginning in December of 2007 TBG did construction cleaning for Perini at the Gaylord Hotel. February to April, 2008 the requirement was updated to nightly construction cleaning at the Gaylord Hotel and Convention Center, TBG utilized a staff of as many as 120 employees some nights. Working 3rd shift with ongoing construction had its challenges but our crews were able to overcome all hurdles and complete all assigned tasks nightly in an efficient manner. |

.png) | Old Hickory Steakhouse at the Gaylord National Resort Oxon Hill, Maryland | | The Old Hickory Steakhouse is the premier in quality fine dining. The Banneker Group,LLC installed reclaimed wood that covers ninety percent of flooring in the restaurant. A custom made cabinets and bars were intalled by TBG along with door pulls that were designed and made in Canada. TBG installed all the marble in the restaurant where it was handcrafted and custom made imported directly from Italy. The steakhouse was completed 3 weeks ahead of schedule.  | Phyllis Wheatley YWCA Renovation 901 Rhode Island Avenue, NW, Washington, D.C. | | The Banneker Group, LLC began performing interior and exterior upgrades to the Phyllis Wheatley Building in the Fall of 2005. Our first task was to restore the roof installing pitch pockets to bring it back up to its original standard. TBG also did a complete demolition to the entire building starting with the rooms on the fourth floor eventually working to the first floor demolishing the lobby area. Drywall was applied to areas that were demolished while the a portion of the building (mainly hallways) received new carpet while all rooms received new flooring (vinyl composition tile). Cabinets and countertops were installed on the ground level of the kitchen area as well. |

The custom made cabinets were also installed by TBG along with drywall and wood paneling that you see when you enter. There were $250K in design change orders on a project that was 9 months in duration and TBG still finished on time and on budget. |
Postwide Painting for Fort Meade Military Base Fort. Meade, Maryland | | The Facility Maintenance Division of The Banneker Group,LLC painted approximately 85,000sf of interior space in the building 8545 and the Fort Meade Military Base. TBG also painted the Fire House at 6500 Mapes Avenue building 4550 and 6619. Currently painting 80,000sf of interior surfaces and stairwells in a coed barracks for the Air Force in building 8607 and will building 8605 upon completion of current projects. |
